ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations that meet the company quality standards, and serve the needs of our customers. This includes commitment to a process of continuous improvement.
Conduct safe and timely routine and non-routine equipment maintenance to maximize product quality and efficiency.
Perform basic troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair to process equipment that is exhibiting quality or efficiency defects.
Consistently maintain equipment, work areas and departmental cleanliness while eliminating safety hazards.
Assure compliance with all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
Familiar with QC standards, procedures and documentation requirements.
Comply with all product safety, legal, regulatory, quality systems and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor and/or manager.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
One (1) year in a production environment with demonstrated manufacturing mechanical aptitude.
Basic understanding of hand tools, plumbing, gears, bearings, motors, chain drives, pneumatics and electrical.
Successful candidate to perform basic maintenance activities and expected to competently conduct basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Candidate should have ability to prioritize work and create value-added results in safety, quality and overall manufacturing operations.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and interpret simple schematic drawings as needed.
Self-directed, customer focused and strong emphasis on teamwork.
Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends and any shift.
Good oral and written proficiency with the English language ensuring ongoing communications with all areas of safety, quality and procedural processes.
PAY RATE: $20-$29/ hr
